The Counselling Service
The Manor House Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling provides a referral and counselling service for those seeking help for emotional distress and who may be unsure where help is needed.
An assessment interview is offered to assist in determining the type of help that would be most appropriate and to take account of both the time and financial needs of each individual. Thereafter a referral is made.
Referrals are usually available in two weeks of first contact.
Referrals are made to MHCPC students, graduates, UKCP registered psychotherapists and other specific mental health agencies e.g. marital and family counselling.
