This free online open event is for those who would like to know more about our training programme, and the counselling profession. The MHCPC understands that deciding which course is best for you takes time and consideration, and with nearly 40 years of experience in providing training and counselling services, we are ideally placed to help you feel confident in making the right choice.
Throughout the event, you will have an opportunity to meet members of our staff team and alumni, who will be able to answer any questions you may have. The event will be held in an informal and interactive way designed to provide an insight into who we are as an organisation, and the experiential BACP and BPC accredited psychodynamic training that we offer.
The MHCPC appreciate that there is a great deal of information available to prospective trainees, and some of this can be confusing. To help you gain the clarity you need to make an informed choice, frequently asked questions covered at the event will be:
– What does psychodynamic mean?
– What is the difference between counselling and psychotherapy?
– Which course am I eligible for?
– What is the route to becoming accredited with a professional body?
– How do I arrange a clinical placement?
– What are the requirements for my own personal therapy?
